Joe Pfadt was in Washington DC this week attending the United States Global Leadership Coalition (USGLC). By attending this two day event, Mr. Pfadt was able to speak and network with lawmakers as well as foreign policy leaders along with other veterans.
This offers Mr. Pfadt and other veterans a chance to offer their insight into current events and other issues faced by Congress and the military.
“I think sometimes the best person to hear about veterans is from another veteran,” said Mr. Pfadt, a retired Major in the United States Army who served a combined thirty years. “So by having veterans invited to the conference and to have us down here to talk to lawmakers, we get to tell our story. Some of those stories are really quite dramatic.”
Warriors to Washington is scheduled to make their sixth annual trip to D.C. from Sept. 13-15, 2019. You can find more information on the organization and their trip here.
